2023-24 Basketball Preview

This week I was able to sit down with 44 local area coaches and get their thoughts on the 2023-2024 high school basketball season. There are 8 podcasts broken down by conference and gender for you to enjoy.

Episode 128 features the Putnam County League boys coaches: Connor Kohls (Grove), Keith Utendorf (Ottoville), Mike Lee (PG), Scott Keck (Continental), Ross Kaufman (Miller City), and Ryan Stechschulte (Kalida)

Episode 131 looks at the boys side of the Northwest Conference with the head coaches Kevin Sensabaugh (Spencerville), Vince Halliday (Ada), Jordan Jettinghoff (Jefferson), Gabe Young (Allen East), Brett Hammons (Lincolnview), and Doug Etzler (Crestview)

Episode 132 is a combo episode with boys and girls coaches from the Western Buckeye League in Matt Tabler and Elise Jenkins of Elida, Tyson McGlaughlin (OG), Trey Elchert (Wapak), Hannah Phlipot (VW), Ryan Miller (Kenton)

Episode 133 is another combo episode with the GMC and SCAL boys and girls and features Carla Siegel and Mitch Westerheide (Ft. Loramie), Jim Linder and Bethany DeJarnett (Wayne Trace), and Anna’s Nate Barhorst

Episode 134 looks at the girls side of the Midwest Athletic Conference with head coaches Amy Meyer (Coldwater), Mike Wiss (Minster), Andy Timmerman (New Bremen), Beth Streib (Marion Local), and Dan Williamson (Parkway)
